CHAIR Champions 0.3.3.0 released: new language, secret character & more

Hi everyone 👋

It's been a while since the last update but sometimes life just throws a lot of stuff at you that you must cope with first until you can continue to be creative again... 

... And the time is now! (or rather started a few weeks ago 😉)

I was one of the lucky few to participate in the Crashlands 2 closed beta and this made my creative juices flow again!

I could even take something from this experience and add it to CHAIR Champions: The main character Flux Dabes as the new secret character! (With the permission of the devs behind Crashlands, Butterscotch Shenanigans 🍻)

To unlock her, go to the character selection screen and type: crashlands 

You can also search for #charracingsecrets on X, Bluesky or Threads for more secret codes 😉

However, after I've finished implementing this new character, I also completed the Russian translation and replaced all the bad looking seasonal background pictures with new ones in a consistent comic style.

What's next? I'm working towards the next big update: new tracks, an unlocking mechanic and new collectible power ups to attack your opponents!

- player 2 can now only choose their character when player 1 is done to eliminate some confusion

- added a label above the character portraits to show which player is currently choosing their character

- replaced the old seasonal backgrounds with new ones in a comic style

- added seasonal music to Easter, Xmas and Swinger's Club

- changed Easter season time frame to March 15th - April 30th

- changed the positions of the select buttons for the chairs to be beside the chair instead of the name of the chair

- added a prompt before quitting
