CHAIR Champions 0.3.7.0: camera threshold & delay


Hi everyone! 


The last 2 months have been pretty wild in terms of updates on CHAIR Champions!

I was able to add a bunch of new features & two new characters as well as fixing quite a few bugs - some of which have been already there for a long time! ๐Ÿ˜Œ

With the last update, I introduced a camera tilt towards the moving direction, so the players could see a little more of what's coming at them which can let them react better.

However, there was a little problem with that: the camera's position changed nearly instantly, no matter how big it small the directional changes were. This also led to a "yanky" feeling while driving on a chair...

The solution? I've added a threshold of 10% and a delay of 0.5a before the camera moves to a new position!

This alone works well for keyboard/d-pad controls - but with (virtual) analog sticks you typically have much smaller directional different between every frame - so I added another check between the last camera position and the current driving direction and if that's bigger than 10% the camera position will change accordingly - even if it's not a direct 10% direction change. ๐Ÿ˜‰


Anyway... I could also fix some bugs while I was at it and it's now available to play here on itch!
